Creating a Word document of references with abstracts

Do you want to create a list of references with abstracts from your EndNote library? Follow these steps.

  1. Open your EndNote library.
  2. Select all the references you want to add to your Word document.
  3. Copy the references (Ctrl c or Edit/Copy)
  4. Make the sure the output style is "annotated"
  5. Click on Edit and choose "Copy Formatted"
  6. Open a Word document
  7. Paste the references (Ctrl V or Edit/Paste) into the document
