Mayo Clinic employees and students must wear their Mayo badge while using the library. They have full library privileges.
The staff and education libraries of the Mayo Clinic are private libraries that support the library needs of health professionals and students at the Mayo Clinic. We may service the Mayo extended community by allowing restricted access on an as needed research basis. To ensure the continued safety of our staff and collection we are required to have identification for our guests, and their reason for research. Therefore, registration with photo ID is required for all visitors using our resources in the Library in Florida.
Access to the library is permitted only for one day for the individuals listed below (visitors or non-Mayo Clinic staff).
All visitors must register at the Florida Library Circulation Desk and receive/wear a Day Pass each visit.
Hours are only while the Library is staffed by library employees. *Computer use is not permitted.
To register we require a photo ID; either a student ID or a government issued identification document (driver’s license, state issued card in lieu of the license, or passport). The registration form must be filled out completely and legibly. This policy includes the following individuals:
