If you'd like to request and renew library materials using the Mayo Clinic Libraries online catalog , you'll need two things: your Library Barcode, and your Library PIN. The sections below contain instructions for setting up both your barcode and PIN. Set up your barcode first, as you'll need the barcode to create your PIN.
Your Mayo Clinic ID badge is now your library card.

On the back of your badge is a barcode that can connect your library account with your ID badge.
Use the button below to connect your Mayo Clinic ID barcode with your library account. Library staff will email you to confirm that your barcode has been activated. If you need immediate assistance, please stop by, call, or email your local campus library. Once your barcode has been activated, follow the instructions at the right to set up your PIN.
Once your barcode has been set up, go to the library catalog.
The first time you logon ONLY enter your last name and library barcode and click on the Submit button.
The system will then prompt you to create a PIN.

Once you have established your PIN, you can log into your library account and:
To return to your library account in the future, simply use the "My Account" in the main menu bar on any library page. You'll need your name, Library barcode (the barcode number on the back of your Mayo badge), and the PIN you just created.
