Most purchases may be returned within 10 working days accompanied by a valid receipt. Purchases must be in original condition.
Approved returns after 10 working days may be assessed a handling fee.
Purchases that cannot be returned include Amazon marketplace independent sellers, associations, review books, and small independent venders. If you have concerns about returning an item, please contact the bookstore prior to ordering.
Students should contact bookstore personnel regarding return policies pertaining to required class textbooks.
Currently we do not have a virtual online bookstore.

The Mayo Clinic Medical Bookstore in the Plummer Building is available for browsing Tuesday- Friday, 11:00am- 1:00pm.
The Mayo Clinic Medical Bookstore has been approved to ship to employee home address locations for those employees working from home. To qualify for this service, you must be paying with a company number and cost center from a department or professional expense account or Mayo Clinic business credit card. Please select Delivery Method “Other” and enter your name and home mailing address when placing your orders online. The Mayo Clinic Medical Bookstore stocks medical, scientific and technical books. Textbooks for all Mayo Medical School, Allied Health, and Mayo Graduate School courses are available to order. Mayo Alumni Gifts can also be purchased in the bookstore.
Mayo employees may purchase items using staff dues account, departmental accounts, or personal or business credit card.
The majority of bookstore prices are offered at list price with a 10% discount. Special orders from Amazon, an association, or small independent companies will be charged shipping if applicable and a handling charge from the bookstore based on the guidelines below.
