Steps to Obtaining a Persistent Link

Step 1: Determine the full text provider

There are many routes; the most common is SFX?Fulltext.

• Go the SFX?Fulltext button. 
• Once you have found the article, look for the Provider: Ovid, MDConsult, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, or a publisher such as the American Medical Association, Wiley, or Highwire Press. 

*TIP: If your article is available through Ovid or MDConsult and a publisher, choose the publisher.

Step 2: Once the Provider is identified, follow the instructions below:

• Linking to Articles in Ovid 
• Linking to Articles in ScienceDirect or other Publishers 
• Linking to Articles in EBSCO 
• Linking to Articles and Book Chapters in Clinical Key
