How do I get items from Remote Storage (“MLAC Monographs” or “MLAC Serials) and how long will it take?

 

For Books and Journal Volumes:
Use the “Request books/audiovisual materials” form located under "Quick Links" on the library home page.
 
  • Allow 5-10 days for delivery
  • Item will be sent to your local Mayo library
    • For pick-up or
    • To be mailed out from your library
  • There is no extra charge for this service
   
For Articles or Book Chapters:
Use the “Request Single Article”  or Book Chapter Request request individual articles or book chapters.
 
 

Delivery options include:

  • Allow 3-7 days for delivery
  • Hard copy delivery through intra-clinic mail or
  • Hard copy pick up at your local Mayo library
   

What does MLAC stand for?
 
Minnesota Library Access Center is a shared remote storage center in Minneapolis.


Be aware that working hours at MLAC do not include evenings or weekends which can sometimes delay normal delivery schedules.
