Scope of Collection:

The Mayo Clinic Hospital collections focus on clinical medicine and surgery (including liver, kidney and bone marrow transplant surgery). The library retains only the most recent editions of textbooks.

Services:

• Collection development
  If you feel our collections need to be strengthened in some areas, please let us know of specific titles. We purchase suggested titles as space and budget allows.

• Reference
  Full reference services are provided including literature searches and systematic reviews.

• Article Delivery/Document delivery service
  Submit requests for articles to library.hospital@mayo.edu. Articles are delivered electronically.

• Interlibrary loan
  Materials not owned by the Mayo Clinic Libraries can be acquired through interlibrary loan services.

• 24-hour badge access for staff and students
• Photocopy machine (no charge to use the machines)
• Black and White Printer
• Ten computer workstations with MS Office, Internet access, EndNote
• Two collaboration rooms for up to 4 people

• Textbooks: 6 week loan period
• Journals and audiovisuals: 6 week loan period
• Materials may be renewed for an additional 6 weeks unless another patron has requested the material.
