Mayo Clinic Libraries offer multiple ways to receive alerts from your favorite journals. Use the services below to be notified when new issues are published. 

Current Awareness

Current Awareness is an email-based journal alerting services.

Sign up from an on-campus or VPN connected PC and then receive email alerts on any device. 

Features include:

  • Receive new issue and new content alerts for thousands of online journals alerts by email
  • Link to full text articles or request articles directly from the library. Links work from any device.
  • Discover new journals in your subject area of interest
  • Locate publisher websites to view archived content, submission guidelines for authors, and other journal information

BrowZine

BrowZine is website and app that allows you to build a bookshelf of journals, read articles, and receive alerts when new issues are published.

BrowZine requires an active Mayo Clinic computer login to access journals. 

Features include:

  • Access to thousands of journals from anywhere, using Mayo Clinic subscriptions.
  • Search journals by keyword or subject.
  • Receive in-app alerts when new issues are published.
  • Save articles for offline reading, share links with colleagues, and export citations.
