Mayo Clinic Libraries now offer online access to the new 7th edition of the American Psychological Association Style Manual, also known as “APA Style Manual.” Newly available, this online version of the style manual includes information for formatting papers, citations, and bibliographies, and offers extensive examples to make writing and citing easier.
The e-book version of the 7th edition APA Style Manual joins the library’s collection of online style guides, including:
American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style
Associated Press (AP) Stylebook
The Council of Science Editors (CSE) Manual
The Library also has an extensive list of print style manuals and writing guides.
We recommend using EndNote or another citation manager to simplify the citation process. If you have questions about citation styles or how to cite a specific source, you can Ask a Librarian for help.
If you are looking for information about approved abbreviations and other style information for Mayo Clinic documents, visit the Communications Department's list of style tools.
