Bonus Reading List for October: Read. Talk. Grow. Podcast Books

by Wail Kailani on 2024-10-14T11:26:18-05:00 in About the Mayo Clinic Libraries, General Resources, Humanities | 0 Comments

This month, the Mayo Clinic Libraries have a special “Bonus” reading list: we’re featuring books and audiobooks that have been discussed on the Read. Talk. Grow podcast

In each episode of this podcast, host and Mayo Clinic consultant Dr. Denise Millstine invites an author and a medical expert into conversation on subjects like miscarriage, cancer, relationships, mental health, and more. In the same way that books can transport us to a different time, place, or culture, Read.Talk.Grow. demonstrates that books can also give a new appreciation for health experiences.

The library is pleased to offer many of the titles featured on the podcast, including books that explore benzodiazepine addiction (episode 31), menopausal rage (episode 30), and living with dementia (episode 29).

If you have books to suggest for the podcast or want to connect to the Read.Talk.Grow. team, email readtalkgrow@mayo.edu.

Looking for something else? You can also browse our list of recently added books and audiobooks. Need clinical and professional titles? Visit our main website.
