  • The Mayo Clinic Phoenix Patient Library and Research Center offers:

    • consumer health books

    • medical textbooks

    • health magazines & newsletters

    • pamphlets & brochures

    • anatomical & nutritional models

  • Full reference services are provided by a medical librarian.

    • Searches for patient health information as well as medical literature are performed using online resources and traditional reference tools.

  • The library is open to patients, families, the community and Mayo Clinic employees.

Borrowing Privileges/Loan Periods

  • The health books, magazines, and newsletters are for browsing within the library and may only be checked out by Mayo Clinic employees. 

  • Pamphlets, brochures, and informational packets are available on numerous health subjects and may be taken from the library by patients and family members.

  • Popular reading materials are often donated by our visitors and are available to you on our free "take a book, leave a book" bookshelf.

Cancer Patient Navigator

The Cancer Center Patient Navigator is a source of up-to-date, reliable information on cancer resources in the community, including:

  • Assistance and resources for financial, lodging and transportation needs
  • Wig display and information about receiving wigs
  • Information and schedules for cancer education classes as well as cancer-specific support groups and printed information, videos, journals and brochures
  • Breast Clinic — Relevant education programs for breast cancer patients and their families.
