As a convenience to Mayo staff, a number of library return boxes are available and can be used to return most borrowed library materials. Exceptions include CD, DVD and VHS items as well as all oversized materials. Patrons who check out CD/DVD/VHS items should follow return instructions given at the time of check out or call 6-7425 for clarification. Additionally, any items left outside the book drop will not be returned. Items too large to fit in the book drop must be returned directly to the Library or through intraclinic mail.
Note: Items reported missing from a book return box by a borrower remain the responsibility of the borrower.
Edmond Research Library
You may return Library Materials to the designated area on the book cart outside the Research Library Office or directly to library staff. You also may return any Edmond Research Library materials to any other MCA Library and the Library staff will forward the material to the Edmond Research Library.
MCA Clinic Library
You may return Library Materials to the designated book drop at the circulation desk in the Clinic Library Library staff. You also may return any MCA Clinic Library materials to any other MCA Library and the Library staff will forward the material to the MCA Clinic Library.
Mayo Hospital Library (Phoenix)
You may return Library Materials directly to the MCH Library staff. After hours leave materials on the MCH Library Staff's desk. You also may return any MCH Library materials to any other MCA Library and the Library staff will forward the material to the MCH Library
Medical Library
Please return items to the Medical Library, seventh floor of the Stabile Building.

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse - Health Science Library
Library items may be returned to the Health Science Library in La Crosse via interoffice mail: LA_PA_03_Nurse. You may also use your ID badge to enter the library (Pa 3-65) and place returned items in the book return bin on the counter by the entrance door.
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire - Medical Library
Books may be returned via intraclinic mail or placed on the book return cart inside the library. After regular business hours, use your badge to access the library to return materials.
